Outfits of the Week: September 28 - October 3

Monday September 28

  • Black crop - Numi

  • Polka dot skirt - Maeve

  • Sneaks - Converse

With a brief return of warm weather, I decided to wear one of my new Numi tops. It’s very comfortable and soft. I’ll do a post about them in the next month or so.

Tuesday September 29

  • Black dress - Urban Outfitters

  • Black sandals - Franco Sarto

I like that this dress looks very basic from one side, but actually has a lot of nice detail. Part of me wonders if I should still wear a dress like this at 30, but the rest of me remembers that I can wear whatever I feel comfortable in. I think I still feel comfortable in this kind of dress.

Funny story. I bought this dress in store in January or February, didn’t wear it during the summer because it was too hot or I wasn’t going anywhere, so this was the first time it was worn. And I popped one of the back ties trying to kill a mosquito.

Wednesday September 30

  • Sweater - J. Crew

  • Pants - J. Crew

  • Sneaks - Madewell x Veja

This is a redux of last week’s outfit that I liked so much. The sweaters and pants are the same, just different colors. I went for sneaks instead of flats, because these go so well with the necklace.

Thursday October 1

  • Neon sweater - J. Crew

  • Leggings - Spanx

  • White sneaks - Keds

The same sweater, again, with leggings instead of pants and sneaks instead of flats for a more casual look. This outfit went perfectly with the skull headband I happened to find at Target.

Friday October 2

  • White shirt - Target

  • Yellow jacket - Nike

  • Black pants - Target

  • Yellow sneaks - Nike

I wore this to the gym and never ended up changing out of it. I like a casual/workout outfit that has a cohesive color story and fits well so I don’t feel bad going out in it.

Saturday October 3

  • Yellow sweater - bp

  • Pink cords - J. Crew

  • Bone booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn

  • Scarf - gift

I picked these pink pants for Mean Girls day. I like the color combination brought together by the scarf.
