Friday Finds: Madewell Stock Up
For this week’s finds, let’s return to Madewell because they are currently having a sale and I am going to do as they say and stock up. (The code is STOCKUP so that’s the joke, but also the reality of the situation because say hello my cart.)
All of the denim linked below is in their $75 jeans sale. There are many more jeans available in this stock up sale, including different some cuts (petite, tall, curvy, maternity) and so many washes. Madewell does some of my favorite denim and I highly recommend them even when they’re not on sale. A sale this good is a great time to try. 10" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Danny Wash: TENCEL™ Denim Edition / Curvy - These are my favorite blue jeans for sure, and quite possibly my favorite jeans. They’re soft, stretchy, comfortable for all day (including road trips) and look good too. I recently noticed that mine (which have gotten significant wear in the four years they’ve been in my closet) are wearing through a bit, so I’d been meaning to preemptively get a replacement. This is my sign to do so now.
10" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Carbondale Wash - These were my favorite black jeans before they stopped fitting. I didn’t find them as stretchy as the Danny (MW’s guide suggests the opposite), but they were still fantastic. Stayed black through constant wearing and washing, never bagged out. Definitely going to try to find a better fit!
Stovepipe Jeans in Cement Wash: Raw-Hem Edition - I don’t have personal experience with these jeans, but they sound soft, the color looks great, and the cut is one I like. Definitely tempting!
9" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Pure White - Will these be the white jeans that stay in my denim drawer, once and for all? Maybe I’ll find out.
Pleated Taper Wide-Leg Jeans - I. Am not entirely sure what draws me to these jeans. I think I’m intrigued by the pleating at the top. I like the medium-light wash, and I like blue denim in unusual cuts, since I know what my favorite skinny jeans are.
