Outfits of the Week: December 14-20

Monday December 14

  • Rainbow sweater - Anthro

  • Blue sweats - Target

  • Scarf - gift

On Mondays, I often don’t change out of my gym clothes because I do a lot of house and admin work. But I wanted to feel cozy and bright on a dismal rainy day, so I freshened up and got dressed! Felt good.

Tuesday December 15

  • Embroidered sweatshirt - J. Crew

  • Grey cords - J. Crew

  • Gold floral sneaks - Keds

My son was wearing a similar grey-on-grey outfit and wanted to match!

Wednesday December 16

  • Sequin sweater - Anthro

  • Leggings - Spanx

  • Boots - Fluevog

What a dreary and dismal day! I took some other pictures today wearing this sweater, so I added some leggings to be comfortable and boots to be practical for the wet. I don’t love the whole combination, exactly. I think the boots work surprisingly well with the sweater, because of the stitching, and aren’t bad with the leggings.

Saturday December 19

  • Cream sweater - Pilcro

  • Grey cords - J. Crew

  • Poncho - gift

  • Bone booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn

I hadn’t gotten really fully dressed up and ready all week, so I needed it. Sometimes I don’t get dressed if I’m in a funk, and sometimes if I get in a funk because I don’t get dressed. This outfit made me feel really good, especially because the poncho belonged to my nana, and I accessorized with some of her jewelry as well.

Sunday December 20

  • White turtleneck - Amazon

  • Grey jeans - Target

  • White sneaks - Keds

  • Red puffer - Monoprix

I guess I started to feel in the spirit because I dressed to go with these fun holiday earrings. I also carried my green purse, which made the whole look extra festive.
