Outfits of the Week: August 24-30

Monday August 24

  • Tie dye tee - Urban Outfitters

  • White skirt - Michael Stars

  • Sparkle jellies - Stuart Weitzman

I felt like wearing something a little different. I don’t usually bare my midriff this way, but why not? I love how these colors work together, and the white makes it feel so fresh and light. I even added a little splash of neon yellow to my eyelids.

Tuesday August 25

  • Leafy maxi dress - Target

  • Red sandals - J. Crew

Can’t stop wearing this dress, and I may never stop! I was in a grouchy mood because I am ready for extremely hot weather to be over, and this dress just makes me happy despite the temperature. No belt today because I wanted to feel the most cool. But I love it paired with red sandals and red lipstick.

Wednesday August 26

  • Red shirt - O’Neill

  • Ecru jeans - Old Navy

  • Gold floral sneaks - J. Crew

I felt like being cute but casual, so a fun shirt and jeans fit the bill. This was one of my favorite outfits from, I think, July? Still loved wearing it!

Friday August 28

  • Red cami - J. Crew

  • Maxi skirt - Farm Rio

  • Red sandals - J. Crew

These last hot hot days of summer really mentally drain me (wah wah wah) which I need to counter by wearing my absolute favorite light layers. This skirt makes me so happy to look at, which helps me deal with a hot day.

Saturday August 29

  • Shirt - Citron

  • Olive pants - American Eagle

  • Sandals - Franco Sarto

The fun thing about getting dressed for dinner is that you can wear long sleeves and pants without being too hot! I felt like wearing green so here we go.

Sunday August 30

  • Leafy maxi dress - Target

  • Khaki shirt - Madewell

  • Loop belt - Madewell

  • Gold floral sneaks - Keds

And again! Can’t stop, won’t stop. To be honest, I felt like wearing pants, but I was worried I’d be too hot. So I layered the khaki shirt over this again and went for sneakers. I would have preferred a light-colored belt with this look, but I still haven’t found one.
