It’s been a sweater week, and even though it’s spring, it’s definitely sweater weather! A cardigan is a great layer for an outfit, and a sweater is perfect on a day that’s too warm for a coat, but too chilly for a blouse or tee.

Classic Cardigans

1. Ribbed Cardigan, Target: Easy, chunky ribbed cardigan. Love this neutral, but the green is fun too.

2. Button-Front Cardigan, Target: Slightly longer than above, with cuffs.

3. Rib-knit Cardigan, H&M: Also comes in lighter colors, but I love this orange-red!

4. Rib-knit Cardigan, H&M: Same name as above, but a slimmer, fitted style. Comes in more colors too.

Elevated and Investment

1. Out On The Open Sea Embroidered Cardigan, ModCloth: This cardigan is so cute! There’s a lighthouse on the back. This would be great with white (jeans, shorts, jumpsuit, dress), red lipstick, and espadrilles. Or red and white stripes. Or light denim.

2. Sunset Embroidered Cardigan, Anthropologie: The knit gradient is really pretty, and the adorable sunset on the back really adds something.

3. Colorful Bananas Cardigan, Farm Rio: This would be so fun to wear! It would look great with blue jeans or black pants, or with a bright!

4. Gaspard Jumper, Sezane: Sezane’s classic cardigan, available in a variety of colors. I love how they show it styled in reverse, and over lacy bralettes.
