Outfits of the Week: May 17-23
Monday May 17
Sweater - Pilcro
Jeans - Madewell
Shoes - Impo
I bought these shoes just over nine years ago. They were out of my comfort zone then, and I have worn them only a few times. But I haven’t gotten rid of them because I just really like the colors and the wrap. I realized recently that they’d work well with some of the more recent additions to my closet, and I love it. And they go perfectly with my current pedicure! A happy accident.
Tuesday May 18
Dress - Zara
Scarf - Anthro
Sandals - J. Crew
Four years ago, I wore the same dress and scarf, when they were both new to my closet. Still love them, together and in different outfits. Usually I’d add my yellow jean jacket (as I did four years ago), but it was just too warm.
Wednesday May 19
Dress - Zara
Belt - Madewell
Flats - Rothy’s
It was a hot day, so I stayed (relatively) cool and protected from the sun with this linen dress. I can’t resist pairing it with this floral bracelet, though I did different black and white accessories this time.
Thursday May 20
Tee - Target
Shorts - Old Navy
Sneaks - allblack
Subtle, I am not.
Friday May 21
Dress - Target
Jacket - Cartonnier
Flips - Havaiana’s
It was a warm and lovely day, so perfect weather for a nice dress! This one is from Target’s most recent designer collection, and is by RIXO. I especially like the subtle leopard jacquard! The jacket not only goes with the leopard ruffle, but also is jacquard. I love references with multiple layers! (Pun on the jacket and ruffle, ohoho.) I wore flip-flops because I enjoy wearing them, and I wanted a basic silhouette since the dress is so long.
Saturday May 22
Shirt - Target
Jeans - Old Navy
Slides - Target
Rooney asked to match with me, and I can never say no to that! Yes I sometimes shop in the kids’ department.
Sunday May 23
Top - Olivaceous
Shorts - Old Navy
Sandals - J. Crew
It was a summery day, so I wore a summery outfit! Izzy apparently approved as well.
