Outfits of the Week: May 10-16
Monday May 10
Sweater - American Eagle
Pants -
Sandals - J. Crew
Scarf - gift
Some days, my stomach is sensitive. When that happens, I don’t want to wear anything tight, only clothes that are loose or drape perfectly. These pants are both, and the sweater is so soft and comfortable.
Tuesday May 11
Sweater - Pilcro
Skirt - Target
Belt - Ada Collection
Flats - Rothy’s
I wasn’t sure what to wear, then I remembered this look that I styled for my bright capsule wardrobe post! This weather works well for skirts and sweaters. I don’t love wearing face masks, but I do enjoy pretty ones that look good with my outfit!
Wednesday May 12
Sweater - J. Crew
Pants - J. Crew
Jacket - Essentiel Antwerp
Flats - Rothy’s
I am unsure about this jacket! The colors, fabric, and print are amazing. But there’s something about it that just isn’t easy. Part of it is the color, and then something I can’t quite figure out.
Sweater - J. Crew
Shorts - Old Navy
Sneaks - Keds
It got much warmer, so I switched to shorts!
Thursday May 13
Sweater - Pilcro
Skirt - vintage Carole Little
Sneaks - Converse
An easy outfit courtesy of my favorite sweater and a cool skirt! I wore sneaks because we went on a walk.
Friday May 14
Cami - Target
Sweater - bp
Pants - H&M
Flats - Rothy’s
Sneaks - Keds
I got these pants almost exactly nine years ago. That’s crazy! I wore them with a cami when it was warmest, and added a sweater when the weather got breezy on a walk.
Saturday May 15
Blouse - H&M
Shorts - Old Navy
Sneaks - Keds
I’ve started to bring out some of my spring/summer only clothes, and felt like wearing this top! The headband is a lot but I love it. These shorts were such a find.
Sunday May 16
Tee - Target
Sweater - Pilcro
Leggings - Aerie
Sneaks - Keds
Jacket - Hei
I like to have layers, just in case I get cold! Today I started with the leggings, then picked the sweater, the bracelet, and then the shirt. It all works! (In my opinion.)
