Outfits of the Week: November 23-29
Monday November 23
Embroidered sweatshirt - J. Crew
Grey cords - J. Crew
Gold floral sneaks - Keds
I picked this outfit out to feel cute but casual for some errands and getting things done. I rather like it! It’s technically casual, but still very put together.
Tuesday November 24
Neon turtleneck - Banana Republic
Blue jeans - Madewell
White sneaks - Keds
Scarf - gift
I love that this outfit is bright, but muted. It’s cozy without being heavy. If I wanted to add a layer to this (beneath my giant puffer coat), it would be a white jacket.
Wednesday November 25
Floral blouse - Little Journeys Chicago
Grey jeans - Target
White sneaks - Keds
Silver puffer - Target
There’s just something about this blouse. I wore it with the same jeans as last time, but sneaks instead of sandals to reflect the cooler weather, and my silver jacket instead of the sage trench. I like that the blouse is long enough to peek out from under the coat. My dad was dressed in the same color scheme, so that was unintentionally funny!
Thursday November 26
Orange sweater - Pilcro
Maxi skirt - Veronica M
Bone booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn
Surprise! I didn’t wear an outfit from my autumnal occasion post. I saw this skirt in my drawer and went with it. It was pretty warm today so it was night to wear the lightweight skirt with a comfortable sweater. I would usually wear a belt to secure the sweater better than a French tuck, but it’s thanksgiving so I couldn’t be bothered to cinch more.
Friday November 27
Floral shirt - Target
Honey sweater - Pilcro
Black leggings - Aerie
White sneaks - Keds
This combination wasn’t as successful as I thought it would be. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it just wasn’t quite right. It actually looks better in the picture than I thought it would, so I guess that’s not too bad.
Sunday November 29
Sequin sweater - Anthro
Grey cords - J. Crew
Gold floral sneaks - Keds
This sweater is probably my favorite winter-y/festive top. It brings me such joy. I kept it casual with some cords and sneakers, in contrasting metallic neutrals. It’s a total accident that this outfit is so similar to Monday’s. Ha!
