Outfits of the Week: August 3-9
Monday August 3
White crop tee - Target
Floral trousers - J. Crew
Black flats - Rothy’s
It was a hot day, so I paired some fun pants with basic tee and shoes. These pants keep getting marks, wrinkle oddly, and don’t wash very well, which puzzles me. I’m not sure if they’ll stay in because I can be hard on my clothes, and only the strong and stain-resistant survive.
Tuesday August 6
Blue shirt - Marimekko for Target
Black joggers - SMU
Flips - Old Navy
A very, very long day meant an easy and comfortable outfit. This shirt is very breathable and the print is fun.
Wednesday August 5
Polka dot jumpsuit - Old Navy
Polka dot sneaks - Madewell x Veja
Orange jacket - Cartonnier
After a long couple of days, I needed to be comfortable and feel cute, so I went with this tried and true combination.
Thursday August 6
Abstract top - harlyn
Grey pants - American Eagle
Yellow belt - vintage
Yellow flats - Rothy’s
It was slightly cooler today so pants were suitable. I added yellow accessories to accent the blouse, including a yellow mask.
Friday August 7
Floral shirtdress - J. Crew
Wrap belt - Ada Collection
Black Flats - Rothy’s
I had a meeting that I wanted to get a little dressed up for (I’ll take any excuse). I chose this dress because it’s pretty, comfortable, and also looks good with my mint rain slicker in case it started raining. The purple belt tones with all of the blue and purple tones of the dress. These black shoes are good in the water, both in terms of color and make. (Special guest, Batman, wearing head-to-toe Target.)
Sunday August 9
Red leaf cami - Target
Orange tulip skirt - Target
White sandals - Franco Sarto
I think I’d been thinking about this top recently, so today I wore it! (Special guest wears coordinating colors from Target and Old Navy.)
