Friday Finds: Valentine's Picks from Modcloth

Modcloth frequently has curated collections themed around an occasion, holiday, or season. These are my top ten selections from their Sweetheart Shop for Valentine’s Day!

  1. Explosion Of Love Mini Dress: A classic shape in a print with a lot of impact! Would be great with a belt, and would look good with tights to ward off the cold. Cute with any shoes from flats to heels to combat boots.

  2. Really Hits The Spot Shirt Dress: Similar silhouette in a totally different and cute print! I like that it’s subtle-ish for Valentine’s. Add cute earrings or a scarf to jazz it up, and then wear again in spring with sandals and a cute cardigan.

  3. Love All Around Turtleneck Sweater Dress: I love a bold sweater dress. Wear with OTK boots or layer with leggings and sneaks. I think this would look great with pink as an accent, or white! Or another color, you do you.

  4. Most Favored Mock Neck Dress: Love how simple this is. Looks great on its own or with fishnets as styled, or as the base for a louder outfit. Statement jacket, layered with a funky sweater (pullover or cardigan), patterned tights.

  5. Positive First Impressions Tie-Neck Blouse: A fun top that would be great with a basic bottom or a statement one. Also comes in white with a black bow, and other color ways as well.

  6. As We're Wrapping Up Blouse: Love a wrap blouse to wear with pretty necklaces, over pants, and even skirts. Comes in other colors as well!

  7. Just This Sway A-Line Skirt: A very basic skirt shape that comes in many colors, including this great red, which they call scarlet. Would look pretty with the tie-neck blouse, or a cute sweater, or a cami and cardigan combination.

  8. Holding Royal Court Swing Skirt: This print is available in a few pieces, but this skirt is my favorite! Very Valentine-y, but also wearable outside of that. Would work well with a variety of tops, from a chunky sweater to a pretty blouse, a contrasting print (like stripes or polka dots) or a solid color (like yellow).

  9. Layers of Love Drop Earrings: Festive earrings are a fun way to feel more festive without buying a very holiday outfit. I like the mix of colors!

  10. A Brilliant Bouquet Earring Set: Wear your own little bouquet with these studs! I like that they’re all different colors. So cute. I personally enjoy sets like these because I wear an odd number of earrings (two in my left, one in my right), so my earrings almost never totally match.
