Friday Finds: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
It’s that time of year again! The preview for Nordstrom’s anniversary sale is currently live, with access starting for everyone on July 28 (cardmembers have access as early as the 12th - I am not one of those people, and more information is on the Nordstrom website or app!). There are a lot of good deals, great pieces, and fun stuff to browse through. Here are my top picks that I will be trying to snag on July 28!
Rib Crewneck Sweater, BP. (sale price $18.90, regular price $29.00): I snagged a previous version of this sweater two years ago, in a lovely mustard yellow, and I have really enjoyed it. This year, I am really drawn to the purple phlox and the tan boulder.
Balloon Sleeve Sweater, HALOGEN (sale price $49.90, regular price $89.00): The tan cobblestone heather is a really wonderful neutral that works well contrasted with brights, or other neutrals.
Swim Too Deep Turtleneck Sweater, FREE PEOPLE (sale price $79.90, regular price $128.00): A super chunky sweater is great for cool weather because you can wear cozy layers under it, or bundle it with a heavy coat. The gilded beige is my favorite of the color options, though there was also a forest green that may somehow be gone or otherwise sold out already.
Devon Floral Cotton Blouse, DEREK LAM 10 CROSBY (sale price $174.90, regular price $295.00): The colors and print in this blouse are GORGEOUS. Wonderful with white or pink bottoms, but also great with black. Dressed down with jeans, dressier with a cute skirt. Still an expensive top, but the sale savings are hefty.
Lara Smocked Off the Shoulder Top, ALLSAINTS (sale price $129.90, regular price $199.00): This is quite the statement top. Pair it with black (midi skirt, shiny leggings, trousers, anything) and it’ll be dramatic. The gathered cuffs are a nice touch.
Kaytee Sleeveless Sweater Dress, CLUB MONACO (sale price $134.90, regular price $229.00): I see this in cool weather, with over the knee black boots, and a double-breasted black blazer, or similar belted jacket. It would be such a great contrast to black pieces. Or brights!
Floral Drop Waist Long Sleeve Dress, JULIA JORDAN (sale price $76.90, regular price $129.00): I don’t want to hurry summer along by any means, but this dress makes me long for autumn! What I love a floaty dress like this is that you can belt it or leave it, depending on the look you’re going for. It works with black tights or bare legs. It can be worn with a layer (like a trench, blazer, or sweater), or on its own. This kind of floral in these colors is right up my alley.
Floral Puff Sleeve A-Line Midi Dress, JULIA JORDAN (sale price $76.90, regular price $129.00): The shape of this dress is classic, but it’s really the print that does it for me. I’d add a belt for sure, and play around with different colors and layers too. There’s even dots!
Leather Biker Jacket, TREASURE & BOND (sale price $199.90, regular price $329.00): This sale is a good opportunity to invest in a leather jacket. This iteration is classic. I am so tempted.
Balfern Leather Biker Jacket, ALLSAINTS (sale price $325.90, regular price $489.00): This piece is still quite a spend even at the sale price, but the quality is superb and the color options are gorgeous. Black is classic, but white is stunning, and the sage is outstanding.
Dana Combat Boot, SARTO BY FRANCO SARTO (sale price $129.90, regular price $200.00): The details of this combat boot remind me of Lisbeth from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and I am here for it.
Lex Boot, SAM EDELMAN (sale price $119.90, regular price $180.00): I really like the knit gusset on the back of this boot, and the color options are all great. I would wear any and all of them.
