Roundup: September 2020

The first month of fall is over, and fall weather has definitely made it to Delaware. I will miss summer, but am so excited for sweaters, jackets, scarves, brisk temps, and decorative gourd season.

There were four weeks of outfits in September. With drastically different weather throughout the month, I wore everything from shorts to chunky sweaters.

I welcomed fall with an introductory post.

I finally wrote an official introduction to my wardrobe therapy business.

There was another outfit formula post, this time featuring trench coats and other clothes.

In this month’s packing tips, I shared my top tips for using packing cubes.

September’s Friday featured a Month of Jackets, including denim jackets, bombers, blazers, and more. It was a little different, and definitely fun for me. I just really love jackets. It’s a problem.

September 12: I love this scarf, and this jacket. Two of my top favorites plus a comfortable dress and fun color/pattern play makes for a great outfit.

September 13: I’ve had this cardigan for a while, and just never quite knew how to wear it. I think I’ve figured it out now, and it was both fun and satisfying to wear.

September 14: This outfit made me feel so pretty.

September 16: This outfit was fun to wear. A shirt that comfortable and lovely is always a good time.

September 18: I’d been thinking about the possibility of this outfit since before I bought this sweater, and it was just as cute and comfortable in reality.

September 24: This combination was comfortable and also felt like it was just really, really cool.

Trench look 1: I really love how the floral pops against the red belt and light trench.

Trench look 2: Even with bare legs, this combination just looks warm. And it is.

Trench look 3: I don’t usually do monochromatic elements, especially with pieces that are slightly different colors, like the sweater, belt, and skirt. But the shades of orange and red are all in the scarf, which brings it together quite well. I’m going to have fun with this kind of look in the coming months.
