Outfits of the Week: October 6-10
Tuesday October 6
Cream sweater - Pilcro
Bird skirt - Farm Rio
Red sandals - J. Crew
It was a bit warm for a sweater, but I can’t stop wearing them so that didn’t stop me. I like how well this skirt transitions to cooler weather. It’s not warm, but the length helps, and it’ll layer nicely with tights and boots. For now, I decided to enjoy the last of sandal weather.
Wednesday October 7
Shins tee
Blue jeans - Madewell
Sneaks - Converse
Jacket - American Eagle
Kept it casual and a little spooky with this band tee.
Thursday October 8
Cream sweater - Pilcro
Paint-splattered pants - Gap
Black sandals - Franco Sarto
Camel trench - Target
My son’s reaction to this outfit: “what happened to your pants?” My husband’s reaction: “do you want your pants to look like that?” If either of them had bothered to read my blog (kiddo gets a pass because he’s still learning, I guess), they would know that I’ve been intrigued by this kind of paint-splattered style. I really like the colors on these pants, and enjoyed this combination. Special close-up picture to show the splatter and my cool bracelet!
Friday October 9
Blouse - Target
Pink cords - J. Crew
Bone booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn
Mushroom sweater - Alpaca International
This outfit is a fun mix of colors. I like that the pink pants are both a pop of color and almost neutral. Unfortunately, as much as I love these pants, they’re starting to shed! Or distress themselves, something, I’m not sure. Lucky for me, I have a backup pair.
Saturday October 10
Black floral top - Cloth & Stone
Black jeans - Madewell
Flax flats - Rothy’s
Moto jacket - Levi’s
It was a lovely day, so it was warm enough to be in a very light top, with occasional breezes that were cool enough for a jacket. I like that this jacket looks a bit grey with this top.
