November 2020 Roundup

It’s been quite a month! Looking back, I think I was in a bit of a funk from the end of October through most of November. Existential dread crept its way through my subconscious. Combined with cooling temps, I just wasn’t feeling getting dressed in anything but sweaters and pants. Which is fine! Because I know that kind of outfit is one of my comfort go-to’s, I have lots of fun sweaters, stretchy pants, and scarves to keep warm and stylish at the same time. Maybe November wasn't as sartorially adventurous as I might like, not as many standout looks, but that’s okay. I still got dressed most days and felt pretty good, and in the face of the third wave of an ongoing pandemic, I’ll count that as a win!

There were four outfit of the week posts, totaling # outfits. There’s another November outfit post coming on Monday, as well!

I wrote about capsule wardrobes, including an example of a neutral capsule. I barely scratched the surface of outfit possibilities with that selection, but there were just too many!

In this month’s packing tips, I discussed some nuances for cold weather.

I shared some style ideas and outfit inspiration for any upcoming autumnal occasions.

It is somehow the end of another season (according to my blog calendar), so I shared fall’s seasonal summary.

As a followup to the neutral capsule wardrobe post, I shared some of my top neutral picks, including some that I wore in the post.

I wrote an in-depth review and hopefully informative post about Rothy’s. I enjoyed doing a specific brand/item feature like this.

In another followup, I shared some fun pieces for fall festivities.

  1. October 31: Not even in November, but I shared it then so it counts! I don’t wear all black looks often, but I really enjoy them when I do.

  2. November 10: I liked the color play of this combination. It was satisfying to figure out a good way to wear this scarf.

  3. November 17: This outfit is a bit funky, but I dig it. It was warm and comfortable, and I do like to feel a little funky.
