Friday Finds: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

At the end of the summer, Nordstrom has an anniversary sale, and this year’s is coming up! Find more information here. This sale can be a great time to scoop up some key fall/winter pieces for a good price. In previous years, I’ve picked up an incredibly beautiful pair of boots as well as my favorite Below are my top picks!

Also wanted to say, I do not have a Nordstrom credit card, do not have early access on any level, and am not qualified to recommend getting one or not.

Sweaters

  1. My Only Sunshine Sweater, Free People - Gotta love a chunky knit for fall! I put a picture of the neutral, but the other colors are great too, especially tuscan earth. I love to wear this kind of sweaters with jeans, trousers, or over slip skirts and dresses.

  2. Crewneck Cashmere Sweater, Halogen - Cashmere sweaters are such a versatile basic! This one comes in so many colors, though I am obviously drawn to the ivory. Browse my winter/spring OOTW posts to see the many ways I wore a similar sweater.

  3. Open Front Pocket Cardigan, Halogen - This style of sweater isn’t new, but it does seem to be popping up a lot. I love that this comes in so many fun colors, which makes it an easy layer for brightening an outfit.

  4. Ribbed Open Front Cardigan, TOPSHOP - Another version, in a cozy rib and great neutrals!

Shoes

  1. Taylor Waterproof Bootie, Cole Haan - I like the simple design of this, with the added benefit of waterproof practicality.

  2. Nadalie Pointed Toe Bootie, Steve Madden - Slightly higher and dressier-looking than the above, plus it looks great in black as well as camel and bone (and edgy in turquoise!).

  3. Kensington Chelsea Boot, 42 Gold - Even higher and dressier, but not so high that it’s unwearable, and would still look great with a casual outfit. I especially like this in sand.

  4. Keaton Water Resistant Lace-Up Bootie, Caslon - Another cute and practical option, in nice neutral colors.

Other

  1. Floral Wide Leg Jumpsuit, Chelsea28 - The colors in this print would work well in spring, summer, and even fall. I can see layering it with a sweater and booties in cooler weather as well.

  2. Déjà Vu Print Sleeveless Top, Nic+Zoe - I love a simple top in a fun print. Easy with pants, a skirt, or tied up for a more casual look. Great with black pants, blue jeans, a white skirt, or anything similar.

  3. Tie Waist Twill Ankle Pants, Halogen - Easy pants that you can wear with the self belt, a bold belt, or no belt. Black is always a great option, but the dark forest green is striking yet surprisingly subtle.

  4. Notch Collar Cotton Blend Blazer, Gibson - A kinda casual blazer that would still work well for the office. I love the color selection, especially the brights. This jacket in pink with the sleeveless top and tie waist pants would be great.
