Friday Finds: Loft

Another Friday, another post about online window-shopping! This week, I looked around Loft. I have physically shopped there and purchased items before, but it’s been a while! They are actually offering 30-50% off right now. I found many lovely floral patterns, which should not be a surprise because it’s spring and that’s what I love. It’s unfortunate because I have a surplus of florals already, especially blouses, and I found many to tempt me.

Tops

  1. Tiered Button Back Shell - This tank is simple in the front with interest in the back. It’s like half-peplum which is interesting and could be quite flattering with the right bottom. It might work with a front tuck or a sort of French tuck, as the back shouldn’t be tucked.

  2. Short Sleeve Tunic Blouse - A classic silhouette in a subtle green, I love the pleating on the yoke and how the back drapes. It looks like it could work well loose, tucked, or even tied.

  3. Floral Ruffle Cami - This reminds me a lot of the navy floral cami I wear all the time. The color scheme is different, but it would work similarly. If these colors appeal to you, I highly recommend this kind of piece.

  4. Lily Bar Back Flutter Shell - This kind of poppy red with any white bottom, or a lighter wash denim? Done and done and done.

  5. Garden Button Back Flutter Top - The colors featured in this print are great (I am especially drawn to the greens and the red). A fun styling option for this kind of top is to try it backwards, either with the buttons open (so as a kind of shacket layer) or buttoned up the bottom like a blouse or tied up a little. (Admittedly, this works well for me because I have a small bust, so there isn’t much of a problem with fabric allowance when I flip my shirts around.)

  6. Puff Sleeve Top - I don’t love the sleeves on this, but the print is another pretty antique-y type. The red/pinks and the spotty nature of it are so fun.

  7. Vine Fluid Peplum Top - The gentle cut of this peplum looks nice, and seems like you could add a belt to really define it, or just leave it be. I love it when a peplum peaks out from a shorter jacket, and the colors in this piece are really nice.

  8. Garden Bell Sleeve Blouse - The same print as #6 with slightly different colors in a very different silhouette. Black makes this feel more versatile, and the sleeves are trendy right now.

Skirts

  1. Garden Fluid Pocket Skirt - I love this kind antique-y floral, and the color selection is nice. Plus stretchy waist, plus pockets.

  2. Buttercup Pleated Flounce Skirt - This skirt actually features a tie-waist (difficult to see in the picture, but it’s there!), and a cute floral. This would be cute with a pink skirt and white booties in cooler weather, or a tee, jean jacket and sandals or sneaks for warm weather.

  3. Bouquet Pleated Midi Skirt - You know I love a pleated midi skirt! The red, orange, and yellow in this are so nice. It’s simple and springy, but not saccharine. A simple cami (in white, maybe?) and a red lip would look great.

  4. Floral Fluid Midi Skirt - The selection of colors in this is great, and I love their watercolor effect. This would be so great with a blue jean jacket.

Other

  1. Lily Tie Back Swing Dress - A swing dress is an option that’s fun, feels fresh right now (especially since it’s vaguely ‘20s, which are roaring again). Depending on how the length hits you, they can be belted, but it is fun to enjoy a dress that is meant to move around and not even really skim your figure. Cute with an open jacket as well.

  2. Pleated Midi Dress - A nice basic. I like that the waist is set-in, but also has a tie that would hopefully work for fit and interest.

  3. Polka Dot Cap Sleeve Midi Dress - The reviews (as of writing this) are negative because this dress isn’t lined, which is definitely a problem for a light print. I would still be tempted to try it because the cap sleeves are so cute, the slit and defined waist are nice, and it apparently comes with a removable tie for the waist, though I don’t see that pictured.

  4. Lily Ruffle Tie Front Jumpsuit - A printed jumpsuit is an easy way to make a lot of statement. I love the idea of this one with a bright belt, a white jean jacket, and cute sandals or sneakers.

  5. Lily Tie Waist Fluid Shorts - Bold shorts are fun as well, and apparently I just love this print.

  6. Pull-Through Knot Belt - I don’t know this belt specifically (yet), but it looks almost exactly like the black loop belt I bought at Madewell four years ago. I’ve been looking for a white belt, and this is it. Done. Add to cart.
