Friday Finds: Anthropologie

Considering how much I browse, talk about, and wear pieces from Anthropologie, it was only a matter of time before they made an appearance in a Friday Finds.

I look at Anthropologie primarily for fun prints and colors, though they do have basics. Today, I’m featuring mostly the fun stuff.

Tops

  1. Smock Tank - The only basic of this particular bunch, a stretchy tank is great for warm weather.

  2. Peplum Blouse - This would look amazing with high-waisted pants and a slightly cropped jacket, either in matching colors like a suited look or contrasting for something more casual. Or a pencil skirt. There are so many great colors. I am obsessed.

  3. Sequined Top - There are so many subtle colors in this top. The mosaic has interesting shapes, and it would work nicely with jeans or something colorful.

  4. Smocked Blouse - This would be lovely with whites or with soft colors, plus black. It could be different in person, but it looks nice.

  5. V-Neck Tee - This tee has a fun print that’s a little bit animal print mixed with camp. The colors are fun, and would go with black and grey, but also greens, camels, and maybe even orange.

  6. Classic Button-down - Cloth & Stone uses soft materials, and I like this take on kind of a tie-dye, kind of an animal print, kind of a polka dot. White jeans for casual, black pants for business.

  7. Henley Blouse - This blouse really intrigues me because of the very funky print and interesting mix of colors. There’s red, yellow, green and pink in the cat faces. The only thing I do not like about this blouse is that it’s a henley instead of a full button-down, but I think I could get over that.

  8. Button-down Blouse - The colors in this blouse are so lovely, and the ruffle details are so cute. A lot of shades of pink, orange and yellow would go with this, plus it would look great with neutrals.

Bottoms

  1. Tapered Slim Pants - These come in white also, but I am really drawn to the golden yellow. It’s a fit that can be difficult, but when it’s right, it’s so good.

  2. Embroidered Cargo Pants - Anthro offers the Wanderer Cargo in a lot of different options. I like the embroidered pair because of the fun colors and detail in the embroidery. There’s also watercolor and painted versions as well.

  3. Abstract Midi Skirt - I can’t tell if this skirt is more of a pencil skirt, or a satin/bias-cut a-line midi, but either way, it looks nice. I like the abstract take on a houndstooth, and the mix of colors is lovely.

  4. Pleated Midi Skirt - Pleats. Floral. Dots. Animals. This skirt has it all.

  5. Bias Midi Skirt - I love a skirt with a simple silhouette and a high-impact print.

  6. Jacquard Midi Skirt - This skirt has a nice mix of colors, and jacquard fabrics have fun texture to them.

  7. Smocked Maxi Skirt - I have this skirt in a solid color, and I love the fabric and the construction of the skirt. This print attracts me because of the mix of colors (yellow + blue + green = one of my jams), and because I know that it’ll be comfortable. The details on the smocked waist make such a difference.

  8. Maxi Skirt - Of course I’m also looking at this print in a skirt. How can I not? It’s amazing! This kind of print in this kind of cut (which is similar to the statement skirt I did a style post on) is my kind of thing.
