Roundup: March 2022

We’ve finally gotten to enjoy some spring weather, but there were more than a few clouds over the month. I took a break when Russia invaded Ukraine because it felt weird to continue posting like nothing was happening. War continues, but I’ve gone back to posting. It still feels weird.

I also had an unfortunate stomach bug, thanks to a school-age son, which was deeply unpleasant to say the very least, and had me shuffling around my post schedule a bit. It ended up working out fine.

Even though spring has just barely started, I’m already looking ahead to summer and have started working on my post schedule. If you have any ideas, questions, or requests, please let me know in the comments or via email!

I shared four outfit posts covering five weeks of outfits! I wore a lot of neutrals and a lot of purple.

I shared my introductory post with this season’s trends and my shopping list.

I discussed the contradiction that is my hairstyle and routine!

I made an example wardrobe for a spring capsule, and also turned the photos into a Reel on Instagram! I’m quite proud of this post and the video. Hopefully that link works. If not, go to my Instagram page @yourwardrobetherapy and look at my Reels tab!

I styled more spring outfits, aimed at moms specifically but for anyone really, that are updates on basic outfits.

I shared two spring-themed finds posts. The first was for my shopping list this season, and the second was selections for a spring capsule like the one I posted.

One of the services I offer with Your Wardrobe Therapy is transitioning your closet from one season to the next!

Did you know I offer free consultations?

Many people wear a small fraction of their closet. There are many reasons why this might happen, and Wardrobe Therapy can offer solutions to this problem.

I shared before and after photos!

I wrote about the concept of a false economy.

I reviewed the sandals I recently bought from Target in four colors.

I recommended following @willowcurves on Instagram for even more colorful inspiration.

I shared my thoughts on novelty, simplicity, and abundance. I just realized the thumbnail is supposed to read familiarity instead of the first simplicity. Ah well!

  1. March 1: I really enjoyed this peachy/coral look! It’s fun to experiment with wearing a lot of one color.

  2. March 2: I recreated the listing photo for this scarf, and it worked out well.

  3. March 3: This outfit was so much fun to wear!

  4. March 7: I love wearing these pants so much. They bring me joy!

  5. March 10: This outfit was so simple but so cute and fun. I really liked wearing the pinks and purples together. Plus I matched my kiddo, which I love to do!

  6. March 14: I love how this outfit worked out with the pops of red. Peep my mushroom earrings!

  7. March 18: I looooove this combination. I daydreamed about pairing this sweater with these pants, and the result was even better than I hoped.

  8. March 24: This outfit, I think, looks really elevated and chic, but half of it is H&M and the shoes are Target! The power of classic pieces, coordinated colors, and a beautiful belt.

  9. March 25: The power of color! This cobalt sweater also was the stuff my daydreams were made of, and I thoroughly enjoyed this combo.
