I recently purchased the Short Sleeve Wrap Dress from Son de Flor. Son de Flor is a small, sustainability-focused brand from Lithuania founded by two sisters. Read more of their story on their website!

Son de Flor came onto my radar from a few creators that I follow on Instagram (including Rebecca of A Clothes Horse). I’d been searching for a wrap dress, and when I saw the short sleeve version in Spring Green, I was enamored. Here are the photos that first really struck me.

The Spring Green is maybe slightly less vibrant in person than it is in the above photos. It also, unfortunately, does not show true to real life in the photos I took below. (My new lighting situation is not very good, and does not do the color justice. I might reshoot these photos in the future and edit the post. Time will tell!)

Utilizing their size chart, I ordered the dress in an XXS. The fit is very good, so the size chart seems accurate. The fit of the bodice is perfect, though because the fabric has no stretch, the shoulders/arms are a bit restrictive so I can’t fully raise my arms without it feeling awkward. Not a deal-breaker for me and not uncomfortable in normal wear.

I’ve only had the dress for a few days as of writing this, so haven’t styled many different ways. But really, it’s best as it is: a simply beautiful wrap dress. I love how it works with the floral sneakers, and it will be gorgeous with sandals. I felt lovely every time I wore it, and am excited about this staple. I look forward to styling it with tights and sweaters for the rest of the year.

This dress style usually sells for $208.83, but is currently 20% off so it’s $167.07! Is that expensive for a dress? That depends on your budget and how you value it. This dress is beautifully made in sustainable, high-quality linen. It is intended to be in your closet for years and years, not just this season. Remember to think about cost per wear and false economy!

Overall, I love this dress. It gives me a good feeling, I think it looks amazing, and the twirl of the skirt is incredible.
