Outfits of the Week: April 3-9
Sunday April 3
Sweater - H&M
Cords - J. Crew
Booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn
This outfit is all about the necklace! I love how it blends in with the sweater, but pops at the same time. Does that make sense? The cords have a texture that works well visually with the chunky sweater, in addition to being a perfect color.
Monday April 4
Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Raleigh Denim
Flats - Rothy’s
Scarf - Anthro
I was feeling subtle, so I wore an outfit that was bright and high contrast! I crack myself up. Just can’t help it! I love how all the colors work together.
Tuesday April 5
Sweater - H&M
Pants - Zara
Booties - Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn
Scarf - museum store
I love how well this sweater tones with the scarf! It’s a beautiful scarf but not the easiest because it doesn’t have any black, so I get excited whenever I figure out something new that works with it.
Thursday April 7
Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Madewell
Boots - Target
Scarf - gift
Sometimes dreary weather inspires me to wear brights in contrast, and sometimes I just roll with it. This color scheme reminds me of how the wetlands by my house look on a day like this.
Friday April 8
Sweater - H&M
Dress - Target
Sneaks - Keds
It was a lovely day, so I wore a dress, but I layered a sweater because it was still a bit windy, and I love to be warm! I tried it with a regular belt, and it didn’t quite work, so I used this elastic belt under the sweater to tuck it up. It’s not the most flattering outfit, but what does that mean, anyway? I enjoyed wearing it! Izzy approves.
Saturday April 9
Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Old Navy
Sneaks - Keds
Scarf - vintage DVF
We went to Longwood Gardens and then had some family time, so comfort was really important! And then I got some chocolate on my jeans.
