Outfits of the Week(s): September 12-26
Sunday September 12
Cami - Target
Shorts - Old Navy
Sneaks - Keds
Jacket - Pilcro
My son and I had a day in Rehoboth! We hung out with friends and went to Funland one last time, so I dressed to be comfortable and bright!
Tuesday September 14
Shirt - Arpenteur Lyon
Skirt - Farm Rio
Sandals - J. Crew
When I got dressed for the day, I realized that I coordinated with my son’s outfit! It must’ve been subconsciously done, and I’m really not mad at it. I stole my shirt from my husband’s closet because the color is so perfect.
Wednesday September 15
Cami - J. Crew
Skirt - ASOS
Sneaks - Keds
I had lunch with a friend, and wanted to be (you guessed it!) cute and comfortable. A fun skirt and sneaks is a perfect way to achieve that. I forgot how much I love wearing this skirt. The movement is so satisfying!
Thursday September 16
Blouse - Hutch
Pants - Jessy B
Belt - vintage
Flats - Rothy’s
There was an event at my son’s school so I went for a subtle look. I’m kidding, I am never subtle. This blouse isn’t the easiest to wear, color-wise, but it is just so gorgeous that I am excited to make it work.
Tuesday September 21
Crop - Groceries
Sweater - J. Crew
Skirt - Hour Glass Lilly
Flats - Rothy’s
A crop top for the warm afternoon, and a sweater for the cool morning and evening! Love it.
Thursday September 23
Sweater - Pilcro
Leggings - Aerie
Boots - Native
My first Firefly Festival look! I want to look ~cool~ but also just be very comfortable, so I wore boots that could stand any mud and keep my feet warm, and my favorite sweater. I picked avocado socks because they’re funny, they match the sweater, and Billie Eilish’s Instagram handle used to be something about avocados. (Izzy is judging me for doing that, apparently.)
Friday September 24
Blouse - Target
Belt - J. Crew
Jeans - Madewell
Flats - Rothy’s
It was an emotional family day, so I dressed up a little but still in my comfortable favorites, particularly the blouse and jeans.
Cami - J. Crew
Pants - J. Crew
Blazer - vintage
Heels - Manolo Blahnik
I wore a black suit with gold accessories for the memorial in honor of my beloved father-in-law.
Saturday September 25
Tee - Old Navy
Leggings - Aerie
Boots - Native
Flamingo - TY
My husband and I wore matching shirts for our Saturday at Firefly. (Of course, I have one for our son too!) The shirts are from Old Navy’s Latinx Heritage collaboration, and even though I am not latinx myself, my favorite people and extended family are, and that is very important to me!
Sunday September 26
Tee - Target
Shorts - Target
Harness - Zana Bayne
Fishnets - old
Boots - Native
Sweatshirt - Firefly
I had to include Sunday’s Firefly look to have the weekend all together. I called this my “Goth Mom” look, and I really enjoyed wearing it. Teenaged me would have been all about it! Yes, those are shark socks eating my fishnets. (Is anyone surprised that I already had all of these items in my closet and didn’t have to buy anything for the look? Okay, so I had to buy the sweatshirt this weekend, but it was a memento slash for the cold nights!)
