Taking Outfits from Summer to Fall

One of the best ways to have a versatile wardrobe is to have pieces that work in more than one season. On the east coast, we’re going from summer to fall, so it’s the perfect time to figure out how to make hot weather clothes work in cooler temps.

  • Sub in sweaters or warmer tops for tanks.

  • Sub in jeans (or pants) for shorts!

  • Add a topper (like a cardigan, jacket, or pullover sweater) when necessary.

  • Switch sandals for sneaks, flats, or boots.

Here are six of my summer outfits, updated them for the current season!
