Friday Finds: Spring Picks, Part One

On Wednesday, I listed some trends for this season, and went over my seasonal shopping list. Here are some of my top picks to follow some of those trends! Part two will be up next Friday.

Slim Silhouettes

  1. Midi Tank Dress: I have this easy basic. It is simply chic on its own, and looks great with sweaters, jackets, scarves, and other layering pieces. Zara releases different versions and colors.

  2. Ribbed Dress: This version is a different fabric and neckline. I’m tempted by the white, though it could be too see-through.

  3. Seamless Dress: This light green is lovely for spring!

  4. Ribbed Dress: Cover the arms and show a little shoulder blade in this! The black is a classic, and the khaki would be great with black.

Bold Prints

  1. Printed Pocket Overshirt: I love prints that seem like antique upholstery. The shoulder details are really cool too. Could be worn as an outer layer, or as your top. Would be especially funky over a lacy bralette or some such under layer.

  2. Printed Poplin Shirt: I MEAN. This feels so ‘80s in the best way. Love it with bright pants, or a slim skirt, or over a tank dress, or as a coverup over a bikini.

  3. Cropped Print Top: This print, this cut, these colors. Wow! It’s so floral and springy, but also moody. Pair it with a high waisted pencil skirt for workwear, or high waist denim shorts for casual.

  4. Printed Blouse with Fringe: I’m sorry to say it again but I MEAN!! There is so much going on with this blouse, but it’s all so fun and looks quite lovely.

Shorts

  1. High Waisted Short: These shorts look pretty slick. I can see them layered with a slouchy sweater and booties for cooler weather, and a blouse and sandals for warmer weather.

  2. Pleated Skort: This skort could be really cute, and a fun way to wear a really short skirt without feeling uncomfortable.

  3. Pleated Skort: Much more pleat-y than the above, this really does look like a mini skirt! It would have a lot of great movement, and you wouldn’t worry about flashing someone when the wind blows.

  4. Issa Mini Skirt: This name makes me giggle. Both color options for this wrap skort are lovely!
