July 2021 Roundup

July was a wonderful month, full of great outfits and great memories, but it was HOT, so I am not mad to see it go. I don’t think that the heat will abate any time soon, but I can hope.

And wow, did anyone notice that I got the dates wrong for some of my posts? Not the day they went live, but the date I put in the URL. Phew! Time is a construct, and it’s definitely under construction in my brain.

I shared four very full weeks of outfits, totaling 33 looks! If you want to get technical, it was 29 outfits for July. That doesn’t even include the last week of July, which will post on August 2! Now that’s a lot of outfits.

The latest installment of Packing Tips was about specifically packing for summer vacations. I’ve been packing a LOT this summer, so it came in handy to remind myself what to do!

I shared my tips for starting your capsule wardrobe!

I ordered a dress I was very excited about, but it didn’t work out. I wrote down my thought process for evaluating this purchase, how I decided it wasn’t for me, and why I returned something that I love in theory. I still wish it fit better, but I’m glad I returned it.

In the summer spirit, I styled 9 outfits to coordinate with different beach scenes and destinations. I’m never sure how these posts will go, but always find them incredibly satisfying.

For this month’s finds, I shared:

June 28: This outfit is not complicated, but I just love this dress. It makes me feel amazing. I don’t have many occasions to wear it, but I always enjoy it.

June 30: This combination is just WOW. Wow. So happy with the look, and it felt great too.

July 10: I picked a black and white theme for a concert, and it was so fun! The skirt was so great for bopping.

July 12: This dress is in my top best purchases for this summer. It might actually get the top spot. I love it. I have to stop myself from wearing it all the time.

July 13: This dress gets another slot in the top ten! It’s so fun to wear, light and breezy, and fun to style.

July 14: I rediscovered this shirt this summer, and it has been a good time. Between the shirt, the black leather details, and the beautiful necklace, it comes together really well.

July 23: This outfit is another one that is easy, but really fun to wear. I love this skirt because it is beautiful and really comfortable. It balances well with the crop tank. Plus the necklace and earrings! Love it all.

July 24: For summer, I’ve realized that I love light and breezy dresses, or fun athleisure-y looks, like this one! Or maybe it’s that I’ll wear anything bright. We may never know.
