Outfits of the Week: December 28-January 3

Monday December 28

  • Neon sweater - J. Crew

  • Black jeans - Madewell

  • Sneaks - Converse

  • Scarf - Target

I was feeling casual and bright. The scarf really completed the outfit.

Wednesday December 30

  • Cream sweater - Pilcro

  • Blue jeans - Madewell

  • Studded booties - Free People

  • Scarf - Metropolitan Museum of Art

This scarf felt appropriate for the day, so I wore some of my favorites with it.

Thursday December 31

  • Sequin sweater - Anthro

  • Leggings - Spanx

  • Boots - Fluevog

I knew I wanted to wear this sweater for New Year’s Eve, though the original intention was to pair it with a skirt. However, it was a chilly day with a chance of rain. If I had worn a skirt, it definitely would’ve rained on the way to the doctor’s office. These earrings were a Christmas gift, and I love how well they fit the vibe of the sweater without actually matching.

Friday January 1

  • Floral pleated blouse - Target

  • Black pants - J. Crew

  • Vest - Uniqlo

  • Belt - vintage

I wanted to wear some of my favorite clothes for the first day of 2021, and I went with this blouse. I stole my husband’s vest so I could feel very cozy, and decided to belt it for some more style. What’s funnier is that I showed my mom this outfit (and Saturday’s), and I unintentionally wore the Pantone colors for 2021.

Saturday January 2

  • Honey sweater - Pilcro

  • Blue jeans - Madewell

  • Vest - Uniqlo

  • Scarf - Target

This outfit is just like yesterday’s outfit, but also very different!

Sunday January 3

  • Striped sweater - Gap

  • Pleated skirt - Apart Fashion (vintage!)

  • Black boots - Steve Madden

  • Belt - J. Crew

  • Scarf - Target

I was feeling subtle today - HA. This feels like an homage to the pattern-mixing I did in high school. If you know, you know.
