Outfits of the Week: April 5-11
Monday April 5
Sweater - Pilcro
Tee - Target
Jacket - Lysse
Leggings - Aerie
Sneaks - Nike
We had outdoor plans, so I went comfy and bright with layers for the wind. This combo has been one of my favorites lately. I wore a spoon earring because I felt quirky.
Tuesday April 6
Sweater - J. Crew
Skirt - Abbeline
Slides - Target
Luxury of luxuries, I got a pedicure! Slip-on sandals were a necessity (my son has a matching pair), and a comfortable skirt made it easy too. I like balancing a fitted bottom with a chunky knit like this one. It is breathable for being in the sun, but still offers protection against wind.
Wednesday April 7
Sweater - Pilcro
Jeans - Madewell
Cape - Comptoir de Cottonier
Booties - Free People
Scarf - vintage
It was warm out, but windy and I get cold! So a versatile sweater (warm but not heavy) and a cape (floaty but good wind protection) were great combination. Also I totally cheated and used a picture from when I wore this outfit in October!
Thursday April 8
Sweater - Pilcro
Jeans - Madewell
Sneaks - Keds
Scarf - the Met
Trench - Target
One of the benefits of keeping this blog has been that I can go back through posts for outfit inspiration if I’m feeling stuck. This came from my neutral capsule post, and I really enjoyed it.
Friday April 9
Cami - J. Crew
Jeans - Target
Cardigan -
Slicker - J. Crew
Sneaks - Keds
It was a drizzly day so I wanted to be prepared with my bright slicker! But there was definitely a chill, so the cardigan helped a lot. I loved this outfit before and still do! For movie night, I changed to sweats and flips, which still coordinated perfectly.
Saturday April 10
Cami - Target
Leggings - Old Navy
Jacket - Pilcro
Sneaks - Keds
It was a beautiful day for a nice walk, so I felt like being comfortable and bright. I just took this cami out of storage and I love the colors. I’m not sure if I 100% love this combination, but it worked out fine!
Sunday April 11
Hoodie - UA/Marist
Leggings - Aerie
Sneaks - AllBlack
I enjoyed a lazy yet somehow productive Sunday, and never “got ready!” (Hence why I didn’t take a new picture for Wednesday’s outfit.) I still enjoy making even my chill outfits fun and coordinated.
